Cardboard Engineer / Structural Designer

Future Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Cardboard Engineer / Structural Designer to join their team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and cost-effective display solutions for global and high-street brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing semi-permanent displays and packaging concepts using engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar.
  • Developing award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides and weight testing new structures, prototypes, and materials.
  • Collaborating with 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver complex projects.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and value engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with designers and sales teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced studio environment and pivot from job to job with ease.
  • Enjoyment of pushing boundaries and challenging convention.
