Electrical Supervisor Overhead Lines

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor Overhead Lines to join our team at UK Power Networks. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of craft staff and contractors to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Work with the Lead Operational Engineer to ensure that all programmes of work are delivered to time and budget, following contractual commitments to time, cost, and quality.
- Team Management: Manage a team of craft staff and contractors, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects successfully.
- Resource Allocation: Work with the Lead Operational Engineer and Operational Engineers to ensure the best utilization of staff resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members follow the UK Power Networks Services Stay Safe directive, and that safety management is a top priority throughout the team.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are kept informed of project progress and any changes or risks.
- Reporting: Ensure regular reporting of progress and performance to governance bodies and partners, highlighting any successes and areas for improvement.
- Qualifications: City and Guilds 232 or 236, NVQ level 3, NRSWA certification, and evidence of training such as a CIS card.
- Experience: Proven experience in electrical distribution, with a strong understanding of organizational procedures and the ability to implement them at a local level.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues in a practical and effective way.
- Certifications: IOSH certificate in managing health and safety, or willingness to obtain within a timescale agreed with the manager.
