Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Assessment Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals affected by domestic violence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals experiencing domestic violence, identifying their specific needs and directing them to suitable support services.
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to ensure comprehensive and effective support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client assessments and interactions.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to individuals in crisis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies to enhance support efforts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by domestic violence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
