Job Overview

Asymchem Group is seeking a highly skilled Process Control Systems Specialist to join our team in API Manufacturing. The successful candidate will provide specialist technical expertise and support for the process plant, ensuring they meet operational requirements and applicable legislative and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist Process Control Systems technical expertise and support to the Operations group, Process Supervisors, engineers, and project teams.
  • Support the development, implementation, validation, and support of Process Control Systems in API Manufacturing facilities, including PCs and networking hardware.
  • Maintain the validated state of Process Control Systems in API Manufacturing facilities following corporate standards and guidelines, and the principles of Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP).
  • Ensure timely resolution of Process Control Systems problems and queries, providing an excellent level of service and support to the Operations group.
  • Provide Process Control Systems software engineering expertise in support of system enhancements and improvements.
  • Provide Process Control Systems technical expertise for engineering projects and manage the provision of all Process Control Systems deliverables for engineering projects, including hardware and software components, commissioning, system testing, validation, and associated documentation.
  • Work with engineering to ensure an appropriate level of engineering support is delivered to API facilities, including projects, maintenance, and support.
  • Deliver Process Control Systems training to the Operations group and other colleagues as required, including training on system modifications and enhancements as they go live.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Automation Engineering, with practical working experience in Emerson DeltaV system.
  • Experience with writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents.
  • Experience on Automation Compliance projects.
  • Familiar with process controls equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of Computerized Systems, Compliance regulations, and standards.
  • Teamwork spirit, good communication skills, and training abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills.
