We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our team at ACS Performance. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing service and maintenance tasks, compiling comprehensive reports, and ensuring the health and safety of yourself and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Perform service and maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including installation, inspection, and testing.
- Compile comprehensive reports on observations and findings.
- Conduct investigations and troubleshooting as needed, providing written documentation of findings.
- Travel for job-related purposes as necessary.
- Maintain safe working practices at all times and adhere to Health & Safety policies.
- Provide continuous feedback on market conditions for overall business benefit.
- Represent the company on-site with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Foster strong relationships with customers.
- Contribute to business growth in line with specified targets.
- Identify opportunities within the customer base for service sales.
- Develop relationships with prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Must have industrial refrigeration experience.
- Mechanical / Electrical engineering background.
- Previous experience in servicing / maintaining machinery.
- City & Guilds 2079 qualification essential.
- Preferred City & Guilds 2078 (Ammonia).
- Strong understanding of Industrial and Commercial Heating & Refrigeration.
- A high standard of technical expertise in various types of machinery.
- Natural solutions provider.
- Product/systems knowledge.
- Knowledge of industry developments.
- Ability to build long term relationships.
