Business Travel Consultant - Out of Hours

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Travel Consultant to join our team on an out of hours basis. As a Business Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our clients on all aspects of travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to calls and emails in a polite, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Offer expert advice on all aspects of travel, including fare calculations, route sourcing, and booking flights, rail, hotel, and ground products.
  • Work collaboratively with the day team to maintain the highest level of customer service and ensure seamless communication.
  • Utilize Sabre to issue, re-issue, and perform re-calculations of international and domestic airfares.
  • Sourcing the best and most cost-effective worldwide routes and booking all flights, rail, hotel, and ground products.
Requirements:
  • Previous out of hours experience.
  • Knowledgeable on Sabre and Amadeus.
  • Fares & Ticketing Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent experience) essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines.
  • On the pulse with world events and likely travel implications.
Working Hours:

The successful candidate will work 4 shifts per week, typically 2 midweek and 2 during the weekend. Shift patterns include Monday to Friday 6pm to 1am, 1am to 8am, during the weekends 9am to 5.30pm, 5pm to 1.30am, and 1am to 9am. The candidate will have one full weekend off every 5/6.
