We are seeking an experienced communications professional to join our team as Head of PR and Communications. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communications strategies to promote our organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communications strategies to promote our organization's mission and values
- Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government, and community leaders
- Develop and maintain a strong media presence, including press releases, media advisories, and media kits
- Manage and coordinate communications efforts across multiple channels, including social media, email, and print
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement communications plans that support business objectives
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive communications budget and manage expenses
- Proven experience in communications and public relations, preferably in a non-profit or health-related organization
- Strong media relations and communications skills, including press releases, media advisories, and media kits
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies

Location: Central London
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + benefits
Hybrid: 2 days per week currently (Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday)
Pension plan: 5%
