About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Conrad Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design projects across various sectors, including Education, Commercial, Industrial, and Residential.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful delivery of design projects, a strong understanding of consultancy business principles, and excellent communication skills. You will be working on a variety of projects, including the delivery of specialist nuclear technical services to support DIO, Navy Command, and MOD organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality design projects across various sectors
  • Work on a variety of projects, including nuclear technical services
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of new skills and knowledge within the team

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Chartered or near chartered level
  • Proven track record in engineering design delivery
  • Sound commercial understanding of consultancy business
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Security clearance is required (this is arranged by the business)
  • UK Passport

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of £45,000 - £75,000
  • Option to work 100% from home, with an office in Glasgow
  • 25 days annual holiday excluding bank holidays
