Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop structural engineering designs for commercial building projects, including new builds and renovations.
  • Utilize design software packages such as TEDDS, S-Frame, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Fastrack Suite, REVIT, Robot, Microdrainage, and AutoCAD LT.
  • Attend design team and client meetings, as well as conduct site visits for inspections and surveys.
  • Contribute to the success of the business by undertaking additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • BEng or MEng in civil and/or structural engineering.
  • Approximately 2 years of post-graduate experience, preferably in consultancy, working on commercial building structures projects.
  • Civil engineering/draining design experience is an advantage.
  • Aiming to become a Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Willingness to spend time on site and occasionally stay away from home.
  • Full UK driving license.
