Residential Conveyancer Opportunity

Sophia from Avocet Legal Careers is excited to present a unique chance for a skilled Residential Conveyancer to become part of a dynamic team in a growing law firm in Chippenham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Handle a range of conveyancing tasks, including Freehold & Leasehold Sales and Purchases, New Build, Remortgages, Transfer of Equity, and Shared Ownership.
  • Conduct thorough ID checks, source of funds verifications, and gift deposit assessments to maintain the highest standards of compliance.
  • Issue contracts and manage mortgage redemptions, overseeing the exchange of contracts to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Order and report on searches, titles, leases, and raise associated enquiries to provide accurate and timely information.
  • Collaborate with other Conveyancers to drive departmental growth and contribute to the firm's continued success.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Residential Conveyancing, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing own caseload and developing business opportunities, with a focus on driving growth and revenue.
  • Proficiency with case management systems and online platforms, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.
  • IT proficiency, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
