Job Title – Contracts Manager (NHS)

Location – Glasgow City Centre

At Optical Express, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes. As a leading provider of ophthalmology services, we're seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining contractual relationships with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) in England and other key decision makers across the UK. This will involve coordinating and project managing the development of new processes to fulfill contractual obligations, responding to tender opportunities, and attending key strategic meetings with partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain contractual relationships with ICBs in England and other key decision makers across the UK.
  • Maintain strong relationships with bodies where contracts are held, seeking to offer additional support and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Coordinate and project manage the development of new processes to fulfill contractual obligations.
  • Respond to tender opportunities and project manage support required from across the business to return the best possible tender response.
  • Develop new systems to support the business with tenders and contractual responsibilities.
  • Attend key strategic meetings with partner organizations to work for mutual benefit and ensure business is appraised of new strategy and central government directives.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience of working within a multi-site clinical environment and knowledge of NHS policy landscape would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of working in an optical or ophthalmic environment would be beneficial.
  • Business to Business contract management within a healthcare setting.
