Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the academy, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for visitors, staff, and students. This will include:

  • Managing the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times
  • Responding to queries from parents, carers, and the general public with excellent customer service skills
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as typing, photocopying, and filing
  • Contributing to the maintenance of academy databases and filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
  • Providing general support to academy staff, including contacting parents and pupils as required

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly organized and communicative individual with:

  • Qualifications to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Competency in Microsoft Office packages and proficiency in computer use
  • Previous experience in an administrative or front office role
  • Demonstrable customer service experience and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and deal with challenging situations
