About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Real Estate Surveyor to join their thriving team. As a key member of the property management team, you will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of properties, from acquisition to disposal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize property utilization, reducing financial liability and increasing rental income.
  • Negotiate and advise on lease terms, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of occupied space, identifying opportunities for acquisition or disposal to meet budget and legal requirements.
  • Manage external service providers, including lawyers and managing/letting agents, to ensure seamless property management.
  • Collaborate with the Property Finance team to provide accurate property expenditure forecasts.
  • Assist in the delivery of short-term projects as directed by your manager.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require a degree in a relevant field and be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Ideally, you will have at least one to two years of post-qualified experience in managing the full life cycle of managed properties.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise, you will receive a competitive basic salary of between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and a range of additional benefits, including a generous bonus scheme, health and wellbeing scheme, life assurance, and gym membership contribution.
