**About Us:** AlphaPlus is a leading organization in the design, development, and deployment of qualifications and assessments, as well as the evaluation of their performance and impact.

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher/Senior Researcher to join our research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality research and evaluation projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement research instruments, such as interview and focus group schedules, questionnaires, and surveys
  • Conduct research interviews, focus groups, and case study visits
  • Collect and analyze data, using tools such as NVivo
  • Write project reports and present results to clients
  • Work independently to lead small-to-moderate projects or elements of large projects
Requirements:
  • Master's degree with a significant research element, ideally in Psychology or Education Studies
  • Experience of analyzing qualitative data and working with high-profile national stakeholders
  • Project management skills and ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to appraise own work critically
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience of delivering qualitative research and evaluation projects, ideally in an awarding or other assessment organization
  • Ability to interpret basic quantitative outputs and work with mixed-methods research
  • Welsh speaking and driving license with access to a car for school visits
