We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administration Assistant to join our team at WeDo RPO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing VAT returns, and reconciling bank statements.

Key Tasks

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Reconcile bank statements on a weekly basis
  • Maintain work-in-progress records using spreadsheets
  • Assist with management accounts and fixed asset register
  • Produce balance sheet reconciliations and daily/weekly KPIs
  • Submit weekly cash flow reports

Purchase Ledger

  • Work with the purchasing team to approve invoices
  • Input invoices and reconcile supplier payments
  • Create supplier payments and liaise with suppliers

Credit Control

  • Chase customers for outstanding payments
  • Create sales invoices and accounts
  • Assist with valuations and verify credit insurance

Wages

  • Process weekly fitter wages, monthly staff wages, and monthly factory wages
  • Reconcile control accounts
