Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to support the management of refuge services for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services and providing support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Service Manager in the day-to-day management of the refuge
  • Provide guidance and supervision to staff members
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
  • Collaborate with external agencies to provide comprehensive support services
  • Contribute to the development of service plans and reports

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on individuals and communities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
