The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and business partnership, with experience working in a global or international environment. They will be responsible for providing full-cycle HR support to our management and employees in the APAC region, including employment law compliance, payroll services, and employee relations.

The International Business Partner will work closely with the Head of People, Global Head of Legal, and Global Finance Director to ensure compliance with local international employment laws. They will also be responsible for setting up employment and payroll services in new regions, partnering with functional leaders to drive best practice and compliance, and coaching managers on people development and organizational change.

The successful candidate will have a CIPD qualification or equivalent, experience working as an international business partner, and a strong understanding of employment law in key international regions. They will also have experience working with HR systems, MS Office, and a personable and efficient manner reflective of the Jellycat brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-cycle HR support to management and employees in the APAC region
  • Ensure compliance with local international employment laws
  • Set up employment and payroll services in new regions
  • Partner with functional leaders to drive best practice and compliance
  • Coach managers on people development and organizational change
  • Assist the Head of People with reporting key HR KPIs/metrics
  • Work closely with Jellycat Employers of Record and payroll providers
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Manage employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary actions
  • Develop line manager capability through coaching and training
  • Effectively use the People Management Platform

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working as an international business partner
  • Strong understanding of employment law in key international regions
  • Experience working with HR systems, MS Office
  • Personable and efficient manner reflective of the Jellycat brand
