About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join our team as a First Contact Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our MSK service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert screening, assessment, and diagnosis of musculoskeletal conditions to patients in the Primary Care Network.
  • Provide frontline expert care, ensuring patients are supported to self-manage or receive support from the most appropriate clinical pathway.
  • Assess, investigate, and manage patients with musculoskeletal problems, diverting to the Community MSK service as needed.
  • Work as a key member of the Primary Care Team, becoming fully integrated within the Primary Care Network (PCN).
  • Participate in weekly Clinical Governance sessions, providing a supportive environment for team members to flourish and enabling clinical supervision.
Requirements
  • HCPC Registration
  • Evidence of relevant MSK specialist postgraduate training
  • Experience of working alongside specialist clinicians within a relevant clinical specialty
  • Willingness to undertake further training as required, such as a PGCert in MSK practice
