Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role
The Warehouse Team Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of the warehouse operations. This involves supporting the site management team in maintaining a smooth-running daily warehouse operation and providing the required level of service to customers at all times.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch of goods in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints. Additionally, they will maintain a safe working environment through effective team management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll have working knowledge of the Warehouse function within the FMCG distribution industry, as well as experience in supervising a depot warehouse operation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train colleagues are essential. Proficiency in the MS Office suite is also required for reporting and formal disciplinary processes.
