Job Summary:

Manpower UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Powered Access Engineer to join our client's expanding team in the conveyor industry. As a leading manufacturer, our client requires a dedicated professional to inspect, service, and repair construction hoists across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine maintenance, service, and repair of construction hoists to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  2. Perform PDI inspections to guarantee compliance with LOLER regulations.
  3. Attend to breakdowns at customer sites, providing rapid response to minimize downtime.
  4. Collaborate with the team to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose and meets the required standards.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in hoist, powered access, plant, or material handling is essential.
  2. Strong electrical and mechanical background, with a passion for service and teamwork.
  3. CSCS Card is preferred, and NVQ qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  4. Full UK driver's license is required for frequent travel.
  5. Previous experience with construction hoists, particularly GEDA products, is advantageous.
