Lounge Supervisor Job Description

The Lounge Supervisor at DO & CO Airline Catering will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Front of House area while the lounge is open. This includes liaising with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Manage the rostering of catering staff, including kitchen staff, and oversee payroll management.
  • Inventory Management: Order food, drinks, and sundries through the Do & Co ordering system and maintain stock control.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers and attend to their needs as part of the attendant team.
  • Communication: Liaise with the Lounge Manager and Supervisors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food temperature is maintained as per H &S regulations and complete daily audits to maintain high standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Supervisor in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to demonstrate great teamwork, and lead by example in attitude, work ethic, and appearance.
  • Availability: Flexibility in regards to work availability is essential, as the lounge operates 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Qualifications: Right to work in the UK.
