Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide specialist nursing input into the development, delivery, and evaluation of cardiac services within both inpatient and outpatient settings. This will include working with the multidisciplinary team to manage acute cardiac patients and participating in the Rapid Access Chest Pain (RACP) Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist nursing input into the development, delivery, and evaluation of cardiac services.
- Work with the multidisciplinary team to manage acute cardiac patients.
- Participate in the Rapid Access Chest Pain (RACP) Service.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for cardiac services.
- Collaborate with Consultant Cardiologists and other members of the Cardiology multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Education to Degree Level.
- Evidence of continuing clinical and professional development, including relevant post-registration courses.
- Non-medical Prescriber or working towards.
- Relevant teaching certificate/qualification.
- Educated to Master's Degree Level.
- Completion of a clinical leadership programme or equivalent.
