Job Title: People Advisor

About the Role:

Gist is seeking a highly skilled People Advisor to join our team in Thatcham. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational success and development of our HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior site management to drive HR initiatives and projects
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Develop and implement absence management strategies
  • Deliver induction training for new starters and update welcome pack information
  • Ensure all HR administration is carried out, including starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks
  • Assist with recruitment and selection on site

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar People/HR Advisory/Officer position
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Previous experience in the FMCG, logistics or supply chain sector is highly desirable
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload
