We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Leicestershire County Care Ltd. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical reactive and planned maintenance work across our 12 care homes in Leicestershire.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out electrical maintenance work to ensure the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems.
- Install, inspect, and test electrical equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Liaise with the Estates Department to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Undertake PAT testing to ensure the safety of portable and fixed electrical equipment.
- Relevant trade qualification for an electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Excellent understanding of electrical techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Full clean driving license, with the ability to cover the whole of Leicestershire.
