Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Property Claims team as a Property Claims Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service throughout the claims process.


Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, with the possibility of rotational remote work based on departmental needs. The working hours are full-time, Monday through Friday.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Property Claims Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Accurately entering and managing client data to ensure compliance with service standards.
  • Monitoring and updating clients on the status of their claims, ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
  • Recording and analyzing information to validate claims and make informed decisions.
  • Negotiating and settling claims within your authority, while referring more complex cases to underwriters with appropriate recommendations.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with loss adjusters, insurers, and other relevant professionals in the claims field.
  • Handling inbound calls, addressing inquiries, and providing resolutions as necessary.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with solid mathematical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Experience in the property sector, particularly within the private rental market, is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A foundational understanding of the insurance or financial services industry is beneficial.
