Project Engineer / Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our team at WR Engineering, a leading provider of bespoke turnkey solutions for process plant equipment. Based in Kidderminster, this role offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between sales, design, and operations, driving business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control customer orders, from supply only to turnkey contracts, encompassing design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning.
  • Conduct site visits to collect information, specifications, and measurements for projects.
  • Produce Method Statements and risk assessments to ensure project success.
  • Utilize CAD software for design activities and implement contract management policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with customers to exceed expectations and assist the sales team in preparing estimates and project specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven project engineering/project management experience, preferably within an SME.
  • Exposure to fabrication, welding, forging, sheet-metal, or similar processes.
  • Mechanical understanding and experience using design software, such as AutoCAD and Solidworks.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000.
  • A car allowance of circa £6,000.
  • A 9am-5pm Monday-Friday schedule.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • A pension scheme.
