Support & Rehabilitation Coordinator

We're a national law firm with a local reach, dedicated to providing exceptional support to our clients and their families. Our philosophy is built on a foundation of care and expertise, and we're seeking a skilled clinician to join our Personal Injury team as a Support & Rehabilitation Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client expectations and provide emotional support throughout the treatment and rehabilitation process.
  • Collaborate with solicitors to ensure seamless client management and achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Deliver a smooth transition of new clients from acute NHS services, liaising with medical, therapeutic, and care staff to ensure effective discharge and support.
  • Assess individual client needs and provide tailored advice and support to facilitate resolution of client problems.
  • Facilitate the promotion of Irwin Mitchell and its services by delivering training and identifying links with potential new client referrers.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to gather feedback and suggestions for service improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within the UK healthcare or social care system.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, rehabilitation, welfare policy, and advocacy services.
  • Understanding of relevant rehabilitation codes, Mental Capacity Act, and welfare benefits.
  • Awareness of external stakeholders, including Headway, SIA, and Aspire.
  • Experience working in clinical, health, or social care settings.
  • Understanding of complex and multifaceted conditions, such as brain, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic injury, birth injury, industrial disease, and bereavement.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car for regular client meetings.
