Position Overview:
As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your creativity and reliability will contribute to the success of our culinary operations at The Grandtully Hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the culinary team with food preparation tasks.
- Manage specific sections of the kitchen during service.
- Ensure consistent quality control of all dishes served.
- Work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while adhering to established recipes.
- Complete daily cleaning and maintenance documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Follow hygiene protocols in line with our HACCP guidelines.
- Understand stock rotation principles and ensure proper usage of ingredients.
- Familiarize yourself with all aspects of the Grandtully brand, including our Crop Production, Feast Events, and The Cook School.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 1 Food Safety & Hygiene Certification.
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques.
- Understanding of COSHH regulations and chemical safety.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn and assist in the development of fellow team members.
- Adaptability to change and openness to new ideas.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards under pressure.
