JOB TITLE: Sanitation Specialist

LOCATION: BH2

WORKING HOURS: 30 hours per week

PAY RATE: £12.00 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

ABM is seeking dedicated and diligent Sanitation Specialists to contribute to our operations in the Bournemouth area.

Your responsibilities will encompass the upkeep of Front of House environments, which includes vacuuming, utilizing a Scrubber Dryer for cleaning, mopping, wiping surfaces, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, restroom sanitation, and ensuring outdoor areas are litter-free.

You will also be tasked with waste disposal and operating a Baler and Compactor in back of house settings.

Attention to detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards are essential.

You will be accountable for disinfecting designated areas according to a scheduled plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Thoroughly dusting, wiping, and disinfecting all surfaces.

· Scrubbing kitchen and restroom facilities.

· Vacuuming and mopping floors, including the use of a Floor Scrubber Dryer.

· Disinfecting high-touch points and ensuring the exterior is free from litter.

· Performing detailed cleaning tasks such as skirting boards, sills, and fixtures.

· Adhering to company policies and procedures.

· Managing both Back of House and Front of House areas.

· Reporting any identified deficiencies in work systems or equipment that may compromise service delivery or pose risks to health, safety, or the environment.

· Properly using all work equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with training.

· Communicating any issues or training needs to your Line Manager or through the divisional incident reporting system.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliable attendance, following routine schedules while proactively identifying tasks.

ESSENTIAL

· Previous cleaning experience.

· Excellent attendance record.

· Punctuality.

· Strong communication skills, including the use of radios.

· Availability for occasional cover shifts.
