About the Role:

Anson McCade is seeking a skilled Radio Frequency Systems Engineer to engage in intricate design and engineering tasks for advanced Radio Frequency Directed Energy Weapons (RFDEW) and missile systems. This role is pivotal in supporting the development of cutting-edge defense technologies.

About the Organization:

As a premier provider of innovative defense solutions, the organization specializes in the creation of advanced missile and defense systems, delivering essential national security capabilities to allied nations. Recent initiatives include a significant contract aimed at enhancing border security, underscoring the commitment to safeguarding the interests of citizens and military personnel alike.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be a British citizen and eligible for DV clearance.
  • Experience with RF Electronic Support and Attack Systems, including integration and lifecycle management.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of RF and electronic systems, along with algorithm development and execution.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Air Defense Systems.
  • Experience in supplier management, typically in collaboration with a Procurement Lead.
  • Proficient in system design engineering, including requirements gathering, decomposition, and management; system design, integration, and testing; system verification and validation.
  • Skilled in SysML, DOORS, and/or Rhapsody.
  • Experience in developing and utilizing RF performance models.
  • Ability to oversee the transition of development hardware into production, including environmental and qualification testing.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Annual Bonus: Approximately £2,500
  • Overtime: Optional paid overtime at a flat rate (1.25)
  • Flexible Leave: Up to 15 additional days
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus public holidays
  • Pension Scheme: 14% total contribution (6% employee, 8% employer)
  • Share Purchase Plan: Opportunity to acquire shares through payroll before tax and National Insurance.
  • Parental Leave: Up to 26 weeks of full pay for various parental leave types.
  • Sick Leave: Scales from 6 weeks for the first six months to 48 weeks after five years of service.
