We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Operations Assistant to join our team at Boots for the Christmas season. As a Retail Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store during this busy period.
Key Responsibilities- Picking and Packing: You will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders to a high standard using a handheld device.
- Stock Management: You will work in our back shop, run our stock room, and support with deliveries and stock management.
- Customer Service: You will provide excellent customer service by preparing online customer orders for customers to collect from store or home delivery.
- Teamwork: You will work collaboratively as part of a team to solve any issues and meet daily targets.
- Full Training Provided: We provide full training for this role, but you will need to have the following skills or experience:
- Process-Oriented: You will need to enjoy following processes and working at pace.
- Team Player: You will need to enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective Communication: You will need to communicate and listen effectively.
- Comfortable with Technology: You will need to be comfortable learning about and using new technology, including handheld mobile devices to process online orders.
- Retail Experience: It would be great if you have experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the products Boots sells would be beneficial in quickly identifying them to pack online orders.
