Job Title: Project Engineer - Solar Energy Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Consult Energy UK. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, installation, and commissioning of our solar and battery energy storage projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement electrical and control system designs for solar and battery energy storage projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and timely project delivery.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and oversee factory testing to ensure that the electrical and control system designs meet the specified requirements.
  • Review and approve submitted designs, and establish system requirements for new renewable energy projects.

**Requirements:**

  • HND or higher in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Electrical Design on LV/HV Projects or in specifying and integrating Controls and SCADA systems.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to travel when required.
  • UK Drivers License.
  • Plus, if you have Solar and/or BESS experience.

**Benefits:**

  • Salary between £45-60,000 dependant on experience.
  • £7.5-9,000 Car Allowance.
  • Annual bonus up to 25% (average pay out is 20%).
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Financial support for domestic Solar/BESS/EV charge point installations.
