Customs Clearance Specialist

Heathrow Personnel is seeking a skilled Customs Clerk to support their expanding transport operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in customs roles or similar.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Process import and export entries for roadfreight shipments
  • Prepare transit documents for internal planning teams and port authority references
  • Respond promptly to customs requests and inquiries
  • Update internal tracking spreadsheets for invoicing purposes

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's experience in roadfreight customs clearances
  • Knowledge of EU TRACES and CHEDP's is beneficial
  • Ability to complete import and export declarations for EU/UK and IRL/UK movements
  • Understanding of transit declarations and proper discharge procedures
  • Experience with Thyme-IT is a plus

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, between 8am and 7pm
