Ecommerce Manager | Retail

Office based 4 days a week/ 1 from home

Salt is partnering with a retail homeware brand to find a talented Ecommerce Manager. In this role, you will report to the Marketing Director to ensure the brand's D2C site experience is exceptional from strategy to optimisation to user experience.

The company has a friendly and dynamic work environment, with a team of around 30 people. They offer regular social events, a monthly lunch, and opportunities for internal progression and growth.

This role will take full responsibility for the online customer journey, website optimisation, and budget. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Sales Director, and Global eCommerce Director, and manage one direct report (Ecommerce Coordinator).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy to drive business KPIs for EU and UK sites.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve the site experience, including supply chain for stock availability.
  • Work with the Global eCommerce Director to execute the D2C strategy.
  • Forecast sales performance and product inventory quantities.
  • Manage external agencies for paid media activity.
  • Manage website content in respective languages.
  • Be responsible for the total eCommerce ecosystem, providing regular insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify or Magento is preferred.
  • EU languages are a plus.
  • Highly analytical with experience of Google Analytics.
  • Organised and a strong collaborator.
