Axon Moore Group Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant & Payroll professional to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the company's financial transactions, including sales and purchase ledgers, supplier statement reconciliations, and weekly bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and manage sales and purchase ledger transactions
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure accurate financial records
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances
- Liaise with the sales team to resolve overdue debtors and outstanding queries
- Prepare and distribute sales invoices, and post daily cash and staff expenses
- Process employee expense claims and credit card transactions
- Assist with monthly payroll duties and provide support to the finance manager with monthly management accounts
- Perform general accounts administration and ad-hoc duties as required
- At least two years' experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently
- Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively
