Senior Staff Nurse

As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our inpatient mental health services. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based practice and support the maintenance of clinical standards.
Main Responsibilities- Act as a clinically focused Senior Staff Nurse within Inpatient Wards, providing support and advice to junior staff and linking with Matrons and community specialist nurses.
- Support the upskilling of staff knowledge and skills, and contribute to the development of the team's clinical skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with the ward managers to ensure equitable use of resources and support an effective service.
- Support the instigation and continuation of CQC standards, infection control standards, and National patient safety standards.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Staff Nurse who has a comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and has experience of inpatient working. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable criteria include clinical management experience, the ability to lead a team, and good team player skills.
