We are looking for a Library Support Specialist to join our Strategy, Partnerships, and Innovation team. This position plays a crucial role in our Open Science initiative and seeks a skilled librarian committed to Open Science and Open Access Publishing.

Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Library Manager, you will work to improve our library services. Your key duties will include:

  • Providing comprehensive support for all library services and serving as a primary contact for users
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with essential stakeholders
  • Overseeing systems for tracking and reporting on publications
  • Coordinating with technology teams to enhance library management systems
  • Evaluating publication processes and creating services for Open Access publishing
  • Monitoring trends in Open Access publishing to uphold our commitments
  • Leading projects and managing priorities to support departmental goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification or experience in library or information management
  • Proven experience in academic libraries providing exceptional services
  • Familiarity with library systems and publication processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and IT capabilities
