About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Lead Nurse to join our dedicated team at Rainbows Children's Hospice. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to a small team of nurses and healthcare assistants
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in partnership with children, young people, and their families
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Qualified RSCN (Child Branch)/RNLD with at least 3 years post-registration experience working with children
  • Experience working with children and/or young people (0-25 years) with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
