Job Title: Information & Knowledge Manager

We are seeking an experienced Information & Knowledge Manager to support the delivery of two key technology projects within our public sector client organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide knowledge and information management support to two critical technology projects.
  • Offer advice and support on all aspects of knowledge and information management, including information rights, in line with legislation, public sector requirements, and policies.
  • Develop and maintain associated knowledge and information documentation to support the projects and the KIM Team.
  • Act as a liaison between the KIM Team and projects.
  • Attend meetings to represent KIM and provide support to the two projects.
  • Implement Microsoft SharePoint configuration changes to specifications produced as part of the projects.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of information and records management, including the Public Records Act.
  • Understanding of information rights, particularly data protection and freedom of information.
  • Awareness of data/information governance.
  • Ability to analyse, interrogate, and evaluate data.
  • Working knowledge of risk management and working within an organisational risk appetite.
  • Knowledge of M365 and associated knowledge and information management functions.
  • Administrative experience implementing SharePoint Online information management solutions to support compliance and governance requirements in a corporate environment.

This is a 6-month contract with 60% on-site work in Milton Keynes. The daily rate is £400-£425 Outside IR35. Active SC or DV clearance is required.
