Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Installation Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive plans for furniture installations, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Installation Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule daily furniture installations, taking into account customer requirements and logistical constraints.
- Furniture Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of furniture to ensure it is in stock and in usable condition, including all peripheral parts and fittings.
- Tool and Equipment Management: Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
- Vehicle Loading and Unloading: Load and unload vehicles in a timely manner to meet delivery and installation schedules.
- Customer Installation: Install furniture to customer specifications, taking into account customer requirements and preferences.
- Collection and Delivery: Make collections as required and deliver furniture to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Warehouse and Van Operations: Assist with warehouse operations and van routes as needed, ensuring seamless execution of installation projects.
- Paperwork and Administration: Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative tasks related to furniture installations.
- Stock Management: Assist with stock management, ensuring that furniture and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Requirements:
- Clean Full UK Driving Licence: Possess a clean full UK driving licence.
- Forklift Licence: Hold a valid forklift licence.
