About the Role

The Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our dedicated team. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health and well-being of our personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive occupational health assessments and advice to Defence personnel.
  • Manage and administer occupational health programs, including immunisation schedules and health surveillance.
  • Conduct investigations into workplace injuries and illnesses, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all occupational health activities.

Essential Criteria

  • Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist with current registration with the relevant governing body (National Midwifery Council (NMC) / Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)).
  • Degree plus additional specialist training or experience to Masters level or equivalent.
  • Current and in-depth clinical and management experience within Occupational Health.
  • Current certificate of Hepatitis B, Rubella, measles, and Varicella immunity.
