Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Manager to oversee our fleet of 15 vehicles, ensuring compliance with operator licence requirements and maintaining a safe and efficient transportation operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain a fleet of 15 vehicles, including tankers, jetting vehicles, and company cars, to ensure they are kept in a fit and roadworthy condition.
- Ensure compliance with driving hours rules and FORS requirements, implementing processes to uphold FORS Bronze standards.
- Oversee driver compliance, completing all necessary checks and recording information accurately.
- Schedule all servicing, MOTs, and repairs for the fleet, ensuring timely and cost-effective maintenance.
- Develop and implement driver training plans to meet business targets and CPC requirements.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driver's License (essential).
- CPC Qualified.
- Ideal candidate will have LGV and ADR licenses.
- Proven record in fleet compliance, maintenance, MOTs, servicing, and breakdowns.
