We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Hospital Physiotherapist to join our team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the specialist area of orthopaedics and working with patients with neuro-musculoskeletal conditions. As a Band 6 Hospital Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for performing advanced physiotherapeutic assessments, providing a physiotherapy diagnosis, and developing and delivering patient-focused treatment programs.
You will work independently, managing your own caseload without direct supervision. Regular formal training, clinical reasoning sessions, problem-case sessions, and peer review will be provided to support your professional development.

Person Specification- Diploma/degree in physiotherapy
- Registered with Health Professions Council
- Evidence of CPD maintained portfolio, including attendance at recent postgraduate courses relevant to this post
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Involvement in CSP clinical interest group
- 2 years' experience as a basic grade in a broad range of rotations, including orthopaedics/outpatients, respiratory care, and ITU, rehabilitation
- Well-reasoned account of career intentions at RNOH
- Involvement in audit and understanding quality issues
- Contributing to clinical education of less experienced staff or students
- Experience working with patients with complex needs
- Experience in NHS
- Experience of student or physiotherapy assistant supervision
- Involvement in research
- Up-to-date knowledge of professional practice and new research
- Able to present information, written and orally, in a clear, concise, and logical manner
- Demonstrates a desire to learn
