About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Change Analyst to join our team at Sanderson. As an Actuarial Change Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by completing complex manual calculations, providing responses to policy enquiries, and updating and testing regular changes to systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete complex manual calculations to support business operations and enquiries.
  • Provide responses to complex policy enquiries to support other business areas.
  • Update and test regular changes to systems, including bonus updates, policy fee updates, and premium rate changes.
  • Use and interrogate complex spreadsheets to enable complex non-standard queries to be answered.
  • Support mainframe migrations and changes, particularly specifying calculations to be migrated to new systems.

Requirements

  • Working towards the Associate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
  • Experience working in an Actuarial Team supporting customer-facing functions.
  • Experience supporting a migration programme.
  • From a life insurance or outsourcing background, with in-depth knowledge of life assurance and pension product types and charges.
  • Adept at specifying and testing life and pensions calculations.
