Financial Assistance Coordinator

The role involves providing support to students during their financial aid application process throughout the admissions and enrollment phases. This includes engaging with students, organizing virtual meetings, maintaining accurate records, and addressing inquiries related to their applications.

Additionally, the position supports the Debt Recovery Team in monitoring and following up with students regarding tuition fees, ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive assistance to students for their financial aid applications before and after the commencement of their courses by offering timely and precise responses to their questions.
  • Aid students in completing their financial aid applications through both online and paper formats.
  • Oversee all aspects of the financial aid segment of the admissions process for both undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address and resolve student inquiries.
  • Address student questions via email and the internal ticketing system.
  • The responsibilities outlined are not exhaustive and may evolve as per the needs of the organization.
  • The individual in this role may be required to undertake additional tasks as directed by their supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Experience in financial aid is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-driven individual with strong communication, listening, and organizational abilities.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to approach challenges with innovative thinking.
