Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Questech Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing special purpose machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical assemblies, linkages, couplings, bearings, gear trains, belts, and pulleys.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure production deadlines are met.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed drawings and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and develop new products and processes.
  • Conduct kinematic and force analysis to ensure optimal design and performance.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD Mechanical.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all designs and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD Mechanical.
