Job Title: Creative Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a creative teaching assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and severe learning disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage students through interactive and creative activities
  • Help with sensory integration within the classroom
  • Work with the teacher to assess pupils' levels and ability
  • Ensure the school's ethos and policies are being implemented
  • Liaise with parents and carers

About the Role:

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the teacher and other support staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You will have the opportunity to apply your creative skills and experience to support students with special needs.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
