Job Title: Creative Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a creative teaching assistant to work in our primary schools in Croydon. As a teaching assistant, you will support students and teachers in a positive and engaging environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Engage students through interactive and creative activities
  • Help with sensory integration within the classroom
  • Work with the teacher to assess pupils' levels and ability
  • Ensure the school's ethos and policies are being implemented
  • Liaise with parents and carers

We are looking for teaching assistants from creative backgrounds such as acting, drama, or musical backgrounds to apply their skills in early years and primary settings. Successful candidates will encourage students' development, engage through sensory play and interaction, and understand social cues and skills.

As a teaching assistant, you will work with students who have special needs, such as autism, speech and language difficulties, and severe learning disabilities. You will also work with students with physical disabilities.
