Engineering Manager - Banking Technology

Eames Consulting is pleased to be working with a leading financial institution to find an experienced and skilled Engineering Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to drive technical excellence in a fast-paced environment and lead a team of talented software engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality banking solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute technology strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and test-driven development (TDD)
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of banking applications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and security standards
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience (10 years) in software engineering, with a focus on building scalable and secure banking applications
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies, including Java,.NET, Python, SQL, RESTful APIs, and cloud computing platforms
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and security best practices in the banking industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
