About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team at Cloud Decisions. As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and resolve complex customer issues related to Azure cloud services and VMware private cloud.
  • Technical Support: Provide support across all Microsoft enterprise services (Windows Server, AD) and the full Microsoft 365 stack.
  • Security Solutions: Manage security solutions, including Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and CVE vulnerabilities.
  • Edge Firewall Management: Support and manage customer edge firewall products, such as Azure Firewall and FortiGate.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to implement enhancements that meet client requirements.
  • Infrastructure Optimization: Optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency, security, and performance.
  • Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams and procedures.
  • Performance Metrics and Risk Assessments: Report performance metrics and risk assessments to senior management.
  • Budget Management: Manage and forecast budgets related to infrastructure.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure service delivery meets performance targets.
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: Experience working in an MSP environment.
  • Azure Expertise: Solid understanding and experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS services.
  • Core Infrastructure Skills: Strong skills in core infrastructure inc Active Directory, Microsoft Server and VMware.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Azure Certifications: Azure certifications (AZ104, specialist/senior certificates) or working towards them.
  • Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with scripting/automation tools is a plus.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
